Assists with inventories. Performs related duties as directed. 

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE 

High school diploma or GED; supplemented by vocational/technical training in electromechanical systems, underground systems or related field; supplemented by minimum four (4) years previous experience and/or training that includes municipal or public works maintenance; 60 credit hours of college education will supplement two (2) years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS 

State of Florida CDL B Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Intermediate Confined Space Entry Certification (to be obtained within one (1) year of hire); And one of the following Certifications based on the needs of the department: FWPCOA Level C Storm water Certification Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Pesticide Public Applicator License

Equipment, Machinery, Tools and Materials Utilization: Requires the ability to operate and control the actions of equipment, machinery, tools and/or materials requiring complex and rapid adjustments. Verbal Aptitude: Requires the ability to utilize a variety of reference data and information. Mathematical Aptitude: Requires the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; ability to calculate decimals and percentages; may require ability to utilize principals of fractions and/or interpret graphs. Functional Reasoning: Requires ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagrammatic form. Involves semi-routine standardized work with some latitude for independent judgment concerning choices of action. Situational Reasoning: Requires the ability to exercise the judgment, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving a variety of generally pre-defined duties which are often characterized by frequent change.
