Job Description

The Senior Account Executive is the first step on path to a management role within Newlink. This professional is responsible for all the fundamental aspects of client account and team management, acts as a project manager for client programs with special focus on issues-oriented topics, participates in strategic recommendations, creative thinking, financial planning, and talent management. He/she offers non-traditional, digitally savvy "out of the box" ideas to address clients' opportunities, can identify new business prospects, lead brainstorms and draft proposals that demonstrate understanding of issues and the best ways to address them. Finally, this executive is also responsible for specialty writing and handling strategic media and third-party relationships

Required Experience
  • BA or BS degree; graduate degree in business or specialist area preferred
  • Detailed knowledge of media relations from key trade publications to national outlets
  • Specific knowledge of an industry or specialized practice area (such as healthcare, technology, consumer, corporate, public affairs, investor relations)
  • A minimum of four (4) years of work  experience in professional services firm
  • Proficient understanding of the techniques of a professional services/consultancy firm, journalism, public relations, communications or related field
