Must be a self-starting professional with managerial experience and a proven track record in sales in an innovative and exciting manner that will create sincere, unique, and memorable group experiences. Will utilize effective selling skills to convert both new and repeat group business, present personalized creative proposals, develop sales presentations, and negotiate group contracts on behalf of the resort.


  • Must be able to self-generate leads and have the ability to close new business in an outside B2B sales environment.
  • Able to effectively sell and close business opportunities.
  • Represent the hotel professionally on sales calls internally and externally including industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions to promote the product and services appropriately.
  • Ensure all sales leads and client contact information is properly input into Delphi system.
  • Display exceptionally strong negotiation skills with clients, some of whom will require high levels of diplomacy and tact in order to finalize contract.
  • Promote good community and industry relations by acting as liaison for the hotel; socially as well as business relationships.
  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, must be able to present self professionally at all times.
  • Participate in the following meeting: Weekly GRC review, Weekly Group Pick Up review.
  • Book individual group business to a mutually agreed upon goal within an assigned region,
  • Prepare group customer proposals.
  • Complete site inspections that deliver an exciting and memorable visit and addresses the client’s needs.
  • Provide other departments with proper communication that will enhance our ability to deliver exceptional service.
  • Must be open to a flexible work schedule for travel and may be called upon to entertain clients and host FAM trips in the evening hours or weekends.

  • Required 3+ years Sales & marketing
  • Four-year degree in hospitality or other business related field.

    • Knowledge of Spanish helpful
  • Computer skills
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel
