We are looking for an experienced Advertising and Marketing Manager to join our well-rounded in-house marketing team. This Manager will oversee all facets of marketing including, but not limited to, promotional campaign planning and execution, media planning and buying, market research, and customer analysis. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and planner who can effectively manage the marketing, advertising, and promotional activities of City Furniture and Ashley Furniture HomeStore South Florida. Previous retail experience is a huge plus.

Job Requirements
  • Plan marketing and branding objectives
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional staff and activities
  • Manage external agency relationships and monitor/maximize performance and deliverables
  • Prepare marketing strategies alongside the Director of Marketing to accomplish business goals and support organizational initiatives
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape and recommend changes to marketing as well as opportunities based on analysis and feedback
  • Prepare and adhere to advertising budgets
  • Oversee delivery of advertisements and other marketing materials
  • Gather and analyze customer insight
  • Strategize and oversee execution of data-driven direct marketing campaigns
  • Foster and build media relationships to best position our brands within the marketplace
  • Monitor, review, and report on all advertising activities
  • Report on ROI and key performance metrics
  • Collaborate with Creative Team and E-Commerce team to build synergistic marketing plans across mediums


Education: BA/MA Degree in Business, Advertising, or Marketing-related field

Work Experience: 8+ years of marketing and advertising experience

Computer Knowledge: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week


  • Experience in developing and managing marketing strategies
  • Experience in customer and market research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a tea m and across teams
  • Ability to work and balance multiple projects, with different groups at the same time
  • Retail experience a plus
