A Senior Catering Sales Manager with Embassy Suites is responsible for developing market segments and soliciting new customers to purchase food and beverage and utilize event facilities in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

 

Across the street from the ocean, this upscale all-suite hotel is 2.7 miles from Boca Raton Resort and 10 miles from the casino and horse racing at Pompano Park. 

The modern suites offer separate living rooms with pull-out sofas, microwaves, minifridges and coffeemakers, plus 2 flat-screen TVs, balconies and wet bars. Wi-Fi is free. Upgraded suites add ocean views.

Made-to-order breakfast, as well as a reception with snacks and drinks are complimentary. Other amenities include a casual oceanfront restaurant/bar, a gym and an outdoor pool, plus beach access and a spa. There's also a business center and meeting space.

 


What will I be doing?

As a Senior Sales Catering Manager, you would be responsible for developing market segments and soliciting new customers to purchase food and beverage and utilize event facilities in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Develop market segments and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships
  • Conduct conferences and external sales presentations to groups and prospective customers to solicit, explain, negotiate and secure group and local catering business
  • Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts
  • Conduct property tours and participate in trade shows, industry and community events to promote facilities and services
  • Negotiate services and prices to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Assist the Director in the management of the department, as needed
