Description

The Sr. Manager, Loyalty Programs & Co-brand Cards is responsible for developing and executing on loyalty strategy for America’s largest ULCC carrier.  This position is responsible for the strategic vision and day to day management of our loyalty (FREE SPIRIT & $9 Fare Club) and co-brand credit card programs (USA & Latin America) to drive revenue growth, cost efficiencies, and enhance customer loyalty for the airline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strategies that generate incremental revenue, drive customer loyalty, and increase brand awareness.  Uncover cost saving measures in all new and ongoing program initiatives. 
  • Brainstorm new product ideas and current product enhancements.  Work closely with PMO and IT to ensure accurate business requirements and use cases for projects related to loyalty.  Give feedback on designs, copy and content, and help champion projects throughout entire lifecycle.
  • Forecast and analyze key customer statistics and trends to more effectively determine long term customer value as a result of Spirit’s loyalty program changes. Manage loyalty program profit and loss resulting from program and partner activity. 
  • Drive a holistic customer acquisition approach that leverages multiple channels.  Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Partner Management, Project Management, Email/ Interactive Marketing to maximize customer acquisition, awareness and engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with credit card issuing bank(s) and all FREE SPIRIT partners to drive maximum value and ensure timely delivery and execution of deliverables. Negotiate contracts with external vendors / partners that will lead to effective account acquisition programs and additional value-add for loyalty program members.
  • Find innovative new ways to educate new members on program value proposition and benefits at sign-up and throughout entire member life-cycle.  Be steadfast in analyzing customer retention issues and acquisition opportunities to drive engagement.
  • Engage, educate and motivate the Flight Attendant workgroup to support the credit card program and obtain applications.  Create training, incentive and educational materials in support of this goal. Create and maintain monthly commissions reporting structure to ensure that employee groups are paid accurately and timely.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of airline industry / loyalty program experience.
  • 2+ years of financial planning, budgeting, PnL experience.
  • Ability to Travel / US Passport
