Under limited supervision, this position will performs a variety of duties integral to the function of the department and the College at large, including but not limited to: managing intake project system, creates production schedules and manages daily creative projects. Actively participates in frequent inter-departmental meetings to gauge production workload and stays consistently informed of all active and forecasted work. Spearheads project requests and trafficking, internal marketing request & execution and content gathering for campaigns and college-wide projects. All internal marketing requests are filtered through a Marketing Coordinator using a project-tracking queue. Provides custom reporting on: creative staff productivity, management and department-level reporting. Archiving of projects according to server structure.

  

 

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in related field.

 

Minimum Experience/Training:

Four or more years of directly related experience in Marketing or related required  An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered where applicable

 

Essential Functions:

  • Daily - 30%: Coordinates the chronology for each step in each project’s workflow, and deliver a deadline-driven timeline for creative/marketing team and client.
  • Other - 20%: Owns, maintains and distributes a weekly traffic report with the most up-to-date information and communicates with team member to complete deadlines.  In addition, a daily “hot sheet” for the production/creative staff to keep priorities on target.
  • Other - 10%: Responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the project tracking-queue (eg. InMotion, Asana, Slack, Trello, Basecamp, project management/trafficking software)
  • Other - 10%: Executes established production schedules and manage daily creative projects while remaining actively informed on workloads and forecasts.
  • Other - 10%: Facilitates information collected to develop project scopes for marketing plans or campaigns
  • Other - 5%: Identifies available resources and assign individual responsibilities to the creative and production staff.
  • Other - 5%: Responsible for follow up communication with internal clients to provide status updates in a timely manner
  • Other - 5%: Play a role in project development by ensuring the team stays on track
  • Other - 5%: Performs related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient with project management system(s)
  • Thorough understanding of marketing plan development and strategy integration
  • Ability to stay abreast of college activities by attending various relevant meetings as well as building strong partnerships with the student recruitment team.
  • Ability to communicate the Broward College message and execute based on the overall strategy of Broward’s marketing & branding goals
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Positive, upbeat attitude that encourages a team-effort mentality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills especially as related to direct connections with key stakeholders within Broward College.
  • Fully proficient in professional and functional standards and protocols of position
  • General understanding of College's structure, policies and practices, and the impact on own area
  • Ability to contribute in multiple related areas within the function
  • Expertise in understanding and following project plans, including the coordination of multiple resources and activities
  • Understanding of and ability to coordinate interdependencies of work within the area and of resources from outside the area
  • Requires advanced knowledge of computerized systems and operating environments i.e. Microsoft Office Products and specialized computer systems spec
  • Ability to interact and effectively communicate with a diverse employee, student population
